	His senior year in high school, Casey tested his soccer leg as the football team’s place-kicker and earned all-conference honors. He was then recruited by Carroll College as a place-kicker and in his freshman season on the football team earned All-Midwest Conference first team honors.

“There’s no place like home. I have loved Verona and the Madison area since my early childhood. The support I have received from the people of these communities throughout the years has been overwhelming.

Consequently, when I moved to the Milwaukee area to train, a big concern was finding that same kind of support. The people at Carroll College stepped up and offered me financial support and a place to call my own. They’ve allowed me to continue to pursue my dream of medaling in an Olympics and get an education at the same time. Their understanding of my way of life has been matched by their enthusiasm, flexibility and friendship. Carroll College is my home away from home.”
